COMPANY PROFILE - Our Team
Kaihan Krippendorff
Kaihan is the President of the Strategy
Learning Center and the author of the
"The Art of the
Advantage – 36 Strategies to Seize the Competitive Edge". He
was a consultant and manager at McKinsey & Company. Prior to McKinsey,
Kaihan held senior management positions in the banking, retail,
consulting, and non-profit sectors. He earned his MBA from
Columbia Business School and London Business School, his BSE in Finance
from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and his BSE in
Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania’s
School of Engineering. He is a faculty member of entrepreneurship at Florida International University. He lives in Miami, Florida
and speaks English,
Spanish, and German.

AnaMaria Rivera
AnaMaria
is the COO of the Strategy Learning Center.
She has over 15 years of management and consulting experience
including three years as the President of a 1,500-person corporation. She was a consultant with
McKinsey & Co. where she focused on helping companies solve strategic and
organizational problems. She is an International Professor at Pontificia
Universidad Javeriana, teaching in the Specialization in Finance and
Specialization in Marketing Programs. AnaMaria earned her BS in Industrial
Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and her MBA from
Harvard Business School. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Tereza Sommerfeld
Tereza
Sommerfeld is a Director of the Strategy Learning Center and is responsible for
European operations. She was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and the HayGroup working in Europe and the US advising Fortune 500 companies on
strategy and leadership issues. She has designed and facilitated
international training programs for top and middle management on
leadership and strategic issues. She has additionally advised several
companies on how to enter the Czech market. She holds an MBA in business
administration and law and is a qualified German lawyer. Her research
interests include the role of strategic thinking skills in leadership
development and organizational barriers to innovation. She is fluent in
German, English and Czech with basic command French and Spanish.

Beatriz Marin
Beatriz
Marin is a Senior Associate with the Strategy Learning Center based in the
New York City area. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing and business
to business sales as a key account manager of the largest retail food chains
in Colombia. She earned her BS in Industrial Engineering and her Master
degree in marketing from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She is fluent in English
and Spanish.

Jill Hellman
Jill
Hellman is a Special Advisor to the Strategy Learning Center. She spent
the first decade of her career leading strategy, training, and project
teams and departments for three Fortune 500 companies. Over the past
fourteen
years she has worked with organizations in the US and Japan across
multiple sectors, including financial services, automotive, retail,
commercial real estate investment, healthcare, education, non-profit,
professional services, legal, government, consumer electronics, and
pharmaceutical. Jill is also an international speaker who has addressed
a wide range of audiences from line employees to CEOs. She currently is completing an international executive MBA program at
Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. |

Brad Hoover
Brad
is a Special Advisor to the Strategy Learning Center. His background
includes a career in management consulting with McKinsey & Co., where he
collected experience in growth, market entry, innovation, and sales
strategy for Fortune 500 clients. At the former Arthur Andersen, Brad led
the development of an intranet application used by Goldman Sachs and
others to execute corporate mergers and acquisitions. Brad also started
an architectural services firm during his undergraduate tenure at Cornell
University, where he graduated with a BS in Operations Research and
Industrial Engineering. In his limited spare time, Brad enjoys activities
including cycling, downhill skiing, and aviation. |
